The "Ocean Unit" was created by OATC staff to give teachers working with students that have moderate to severe disabilities a creative and engaging way to teach academic skills and also help them accommodate the physical, sensory, or cognitive limitations their students may have. This unit contains many no, low, and high tech activities that cover the following curricular areas: reading, writing, math, social studies/community, science, art, music, and cooking.
